What matters

It has been quite awhile since i last updated my blog. Guess I'm just being plain lazy to blog.. =p

Anyway, my family and i celebrated my sister's 24th birthday with her. Although she's married and all, it is still very much family tradition to celebrate each other's birthday.. =) Her birthday falls on Chinese New Year's Eve. Therefore, we decided to celebrate it earlier. The weekend before her birthday we went to these Japanese restaurant in Subang to celebrate her birthday. I don't remember the name of the Japanese restaurant though.

Then after dinner we headed back home. That day I made chocolate brownies for the very first time. Thank God it turn out alright. I have so many past not so nice baking experience before. Therefore, I'm pretty glad of the outcome of the chocolate brownie. And since we were celebrating my sister's birthday, I decided to cut a slice for her, pour extra melted chocolate on it and light a candle above it. I felt very pleased with myself..=p

Finally, the best part about birthdays are the present. Since I'm the only one still not working in the family, nowadays I hardly pay for gifts for my family. However, this year I decided to get her a birthday present. No, two present to be exact. So tadah... Here is what I got her...

P.S I Love You

A book entitle P.S. I love you by Cecelia Ahern. There's a movie based on this book and from what I heard the story is excellent, very heart warming. However, I came to know that the movie is not going to be release in Malaysia... sigh.. Anyhow, here is the trailer for the movie for your viewing pleasure.. *wink*

Other than the book, I found this really, really and I mean really, really adorable baby mitten and bootee set. And so I couldn't resist and bought it to add to the present. It says 'I love daddy' and 'I love mummy' on it. I would want one of those for my kid next time. Hmmm.. maybe I should have bought one extra beforehand.. darn.. =p

The cutest little thing

And if you're wondering... yea you got it right. They are expecting their first child. Which means, I'm going to be an aunty.... darn... I mean darn in a good way. Now I definitely am old... haha. But I can't wait for this bundle of joy to arrive. Hopefully it's going to be a bundle of joy and not a bundle of headaches... haha..

Ok that's it for now..
Signing off once again..
